Kristen Anderson

Kristen is developing the case study for IXL and the Hult Global Case Challenge, as well as contributing to product development and strategy. She designed and implemented the strategic plan for the regional case competition in London in 2011, and she will continue to be involved with the development of the program. Her skills include strategic organization and execution, value communication, and analytic, quantitative problem solving.
Kristen received a B.S. in Mathematics and a B.A. in Economics from Pepperdine University. During this time she completed research for the National Science Foundation and the Center for Undergraduate Research in Mathematics (CURM) on applied linear algebra, publishing results on fixed-point Sinkhorn-Knopp Algorithms for doubly stochastic and preconditioned sparse matrices.
After her work in academia, Kristen worked for the University of California Santa Barbara Alumni Association on client relationship management and hospitality.
During a year in London, and later Shanghai, Kristen completed her Masters in International Business with distinction. She has worked on business pipeline and strategy development for Atos Business Integration, brand management and sustainable marketing practices for Post-it ® 3M, consumer value communications for Communicaid Consulting in London, and new geographic marketing expansion for Skinos Mastiha Spirits.
