Yan Gu
ex-Associate Consultant, IXL Center
Yan is a former Associate Consultant at the Center for Innovation, Excellence & Leadership (IXL Center) in Boston. She is currently developing and designing the new Accelerator Program for Hult Prize and is involved in the 2012-2013 Hult /Clinton Global Initiative events.
Prior to IXL, Yan has worked as a researcher for CAST, Save the Children and labs in both Harvard University and Beijing Normal University. The most recent study she worked on was presented at Jean Piaget Society 2012 Symposium in Toronto, Canada. She also worked as a lecturer and advisor within the international education sector between China and US. In addition, she has a lot of experience in the social goods areas such as healthcare service, student volunteer organization and literacy programs. She has supported and managed marketing projects for new product and built connections between company and colleges.
Yan received an Ed. M in Human Development and Psychology from Harvard University and graduated cum laude with a B.A. in English language and Literature from Beijing Normal University. She is fluent in both Mandarin Chinese and English.
