If you\u2019re waiting to adjust to new circumstances until you have no choice, it will almost always be too late.\u00a0<\/strong>The alternative to waiting is anticipating \u201cwhat\u2019s next?\u201d and imagining \u201cwhat if?\u201d when that future becomes real.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Despite this great promise, a world-in-flux can be scary, especially because of the unprecedented speed. In the 1980s, in Motorola, a company dominated by forward-thinking engineers, predictions made were ahead of the curve – thinking change would come sooner. But today most people are behind the curve, because the habits leaders developed when they were growing up didn\u2019t include constant vigilance in the face of all-encompassing changes.\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
