
Principal, IXL Center Guatemala
Valeria is Principal at IXL Center and has more than eight years of experience working in innovation strategy. She has led the 10x SME Growth program focused on accelerating growth through innovation in Colombia and Guatemala. She worked with 150+ SMEs in Colombia through Colciencias and Chambers of Commerce in Bogotá, Bucaramanga and Cucuta, and with 70 companies in Guatemala through Pronacom and IDB.
She worked on the development and implementation of an innovation management system for a corporation of 6 companies with presence in 5 countries, and developed innovation and sales skills of employees through workshop facilitation. She was also part of the support team for the government ministries and presidential cabinet of Guatemala in innovating on the development of government plans.
Currently she is a professor and program manager for Innovation Olympics in 2 main universities in Guatemala. Has a Masters in Innovation for University of Wales, and a Bachelor degree from Universidad Francisco Marroquín.
